After President Obama's inauguration, we wrote letters to the new president with our ideas and questions. Some of the students recorded their letters on video. Here are a couple samples:

Reminders
Thanks for reading! Just a few reminders for February...
1. Uniforms - remember that students should not be wearing non-uniform color sweatshirts or undershirts to school. All shirts must be blue, gray, or white.
2. Bingo Night - Please submit your donations for Bingo Night! It's an important fundraiser for the 5th grade graduation and we need your support.
3. Valentine's Day - We will be celebrating Valentine's Day on Friday February 13th. If your child chooses to bring valentines, please have him/her bring one for each student in his/her homeroom.
